EventsCom’s Winter Craft Night

Personally, I am a big fan of Christmas. It is the time to be cozy and spend it with your dearest, so when I read EventsCom was organising this event I was quite excited! I had never build a gingerbread house before and I’ve always wanted to do it. So I guess this was the day! The glue was not really working with us at first, it was very hard and didn’t want to leave its cozy home (the tube). But once we got boiling hot water and let them enjoy a nice hot tub for a minute, they were pretty easy to use. People made many very creative designs! I wasn’t too happy with my own, and eating it was also not too satisfying as the gingerbread was not so nice (I guess making your own is more delicious). Next to the gingerbread houses, we could also make creations with iron beads and loom bracelets. Both are activities which I did when in my childhood. However, they were fun to do. I made a bracelet for my niece as it is her birthday very soon and I created a pretty flower with iron beads for decoration at home. I was sitting next to Gaby and she was making some Pokémon which were very cute! I hope they snapped some pictures of those! It was very fun to catch up with friends whilst doing a fun activity, whilst enjoying some (cold) chocolate milk or a little bit of wine.
