Meet The Board – Yoshi
Meet the XLIIIrd Board of AEGEE-Delft, Yoshi!
During the Pentecost weekend, it was finally time for the mystery trip! On the way, we headed south and crossed the border into Belgium. Near Ghent, we suddenly left the highway. Later, we entered France near Lille. That must be the final destination, I thought, but we drove right past it. Now I really had no clue anymore…
AEGEE-Delft and AEGEE-Utrecht held their annual collaborative Valentine’s Dinner, matching participants based on shared interests for a fun, romantic evening. The night featured good food, good company, and the possibility of new sparks flying.
Going to Sicily was one of the best decisions I made this year. It was my first long AEGEE trip, so I was super excited to finally experience what it’s like to join AEGEE Delft on a trip for an entire week. I was totally ready for sunnier weather than in The Netherlands, great company, beautiful landscapes, and of course, the Italian food.
The padel evening that the ComPETE organized was a great mix of people who had played tennis or padel before and were able to pick it up quickly, and people like myself who’d never played before. We had five teams, making it perfect for a round-robin style tournament. There was a lot of variation even within teams, this made the tournament quite interesting. This event was quite different from what we usually do with AEGEE, which made it all the more fun.
